Environment Design-
otd episode 1
I am so proud to say that I am an Environment Artist for Nth Circle’s flagship game, of the Devil. I was brought on during Episode 1’s development, and it was daunting at first to follow up the extremely successful Episode 0, but after learning so much from working on the Marchen Line environments, I felt ready for the challenge! As one of two people working on environments, I was responsible for several scenes with varying levels of development done- some scenes had been blocked out, other scenes I was free to start from concept to final environment.
Various textures and props provided by Unity Asset Store.

My process was to inspect the scenes, read the script to understand the mood and needs for the scene, and then build out from there, including building models like the overhead crosswalk in the Street Crossing scene, the machine arms in the factory, to modeling entire interiors like the car. Additionally, I animated some props, like the factory machine arms, which in game are animated to look like they are working on building products.
Decals on Factory windows added by Patrick Mullholland, decal on Factory laptop added by Brian Mullholland.
